Picasso Art Gallery Inaugurates Landmark Modernist Pavilion in Zamalek & New Cairo

Marking over fifty years of fine art framing and curatorial exhibitions, the gallery unveils its expanded permanent pavilion.

### Celebrating Five Decades of Egyptian Fine Art Picasso Art Gallery (founded in 1996 by Ibrahim Mohamed Abdel Rahman, continuing a master frame-making tradition established in 1971) has inaugurated its state-of-the-art dual gallery spaces spanning Hassan Assem Street in Zamalek and the newly opened Picasso East Pavilion in New Cairo. Named originally by the pioneer artist **Hussein Bicar**, the institution has served as a cornerstone for collecting, preserving, and exhibiting modern and contemporary Egyptian masterworks. The new pavilions feature climate-controlled preservation vaults, interactive spatial simulators, and dedicated curatorial viewing halls. > "Our mission remains steadfast: connecting international collectors and public institutions with the unparalleled visual heritage of Egypt's twentieth-century pioneers alongside the boldest emerging voices of the contemporary generation." The inaugural program features major retrospectives of Adam Henein, Gazbia Sirry, and Abdel Hady El-Gazzar, open daily to visitors and collectors with private curatorial appointments.
